Clarity, structure and brand consistency

Created as part of my position as Senior Designer at EMPIST. A full UI/UX redesign of Mavala’s Greek digital presence, developed in alignment with the brand’s global visual guidelines. The project focused on refining information architecture, wireframing and prototyping, transforming a dense product catalogue into a structured and intuitive browsing experience. A key challenge was organising colour-led categories (such as nail enamels and lip products) in a way that felt both visually engaging and logically clear. The introduction of interactive colour swatches within product listings allowed users to explore variations directly, enhancing clarity without overwhelming the interface.

From brand assets to digital order

The outcome is a disciplined UI framework that balances visual expressiveness with structural precision. Each component operates within a clear system, ensuring consistency across categories while allowing the brand’s colour richness to remain central. The result is less about showcasing products and brand's mission, and more about expressing a brand through hierarchy, rhythm and restraint.
